Regrettably, the only solution to overcoming the issue of being stuck in a black loading screen while joining your server is to delete the affected character.
- Navigate to Pal > Saved > SaveGames > 0 > [numbers] > Players.
- In this directory, you'll find all the character files. Unfortunately, there's currently no clear way to identify which file corresponds to which person.
- To address this, have the individual who needs their character deleted join another server you have access to.
- Observe which file is created as they join. The file numbers will match those on your server.
- Delete the file that matches and then have them rejoin.
